How much is the credit card preauthorization?

The amount required for preauthorization is 0.15% plus HST of the opening price of the MultiBID plus HST.

For example, if an opening bid for a property is $750,000, the necessary preauthorization amount is $1,125.00 ($750,000 x 0.15% plus HST).

Remember, credit cards are ONLY charged the $20 participation fee, and the pre-authorization amount will only be charged if a winning bidder is successful or delinquent.  We will NEVER charge the Buyer’s Premium to a credit card to anyone who was not successful in Winning the bidding process.
